Woolie:

After a year of being slaves to pig no. 1: Harlow. We decided it was time to get him a friend... Pigs are social animals and ideally should live in pairs or herds (and I’m told I’m not allowed a heard ☹)

I already knew I didn't want to get a pet shop guinea pig, so I decided to rehome one again. This is how we got Woolie - He was named by a child who no longer wanted him, I kept it as it was apt, and I was tickled by Woolly with an -ie! I spent the whole first evening cutting some terrible matts out of his unkempt fur that looked like a faux Kim Kardashian-esk rear end, and trimming his witchy nails.

Unfortunately, the friendship was not to be: after a brief, and unconsented sexual advance from the overexcited Woolie at their first introduction. Harlow decided that he did not like him at all, and took to chasing, biting, and chittering (a great pig insult) at him. This dislike has continued despite many fruitless attempts to bring them together. Could you not just get on guys, you're supposed to be social!

Typical second child though, Woolie was, and still is, a little ball of energy. Loves zoomies, and has a Week that could burst your ear drums, that he deploys at ANY time, mostly aimed at my boyfriend, who is the easiest to manipulate into getting more veggies for him. He doesn't like cuddles but loves to chat too us from across the room, and is his absolute most excited when the hay is refilled – he completely loses his mind!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Please note that everything here is from my own experience, and as such may not be correct for your life, or your piggies.

With that withstanding, I hope that you do enjoy Harlow and Woolie's lives! I have not included anything in my page that I do not think is good quality, and good for my furry family!

If you have any questions about anything I have posted, please get in touch.
